A Foldable Twist on the Temple Cushion

The basic zabuton has been used in Thai temples for generations as a flat seating cushion. This 2-fold version takes that same square and makes it portable — the same firm kapok support, with the practical benefit of folding away. A natural choice if you don't have permanent floor space for meditation.

Why fold it instead of just buying a thicker cushion?
The fold gives you two heights: lay flat for a low base under your zafu, or fold in half to lift your hips when you don't have a separate zafu. One cushion, two configurations.

Will the kapok flatten over time?
Kapok bounces back when fluffed. A quick refluff every few weeks keeps it in good shape.

Can the cover be washed?
Spot-clean with cool water and mild soap. Don't machine wash — kapok clumps when wet.

Each cushion is hand-stuffed by Thai artisans, so size, weight, and pattern alignment may vary slightly between pieces. We see this as part of the character — every cushion is one of a kind.
