How is this different to a round bolster?
The flat top makes it more stable for poses where you need a non-rolling surface (like supported backbends). Round bolsters work better when you actually want the cushion to roll along your spine.

Will the kapok flatten over time?
Kapok bounces back when fluffed. Yoga props see lots of compression — fluff yours weekly to keep it firm.

Can the cover be washed?
Spot-clean with cool water and mild soap. Don't machine wash — kapok clumps when wet.
